Gore finally gets one in the win column. His film “An Inconvenient Truth” won Best Documentary at last night’s Academy awards. Not really a shock since no one has really ever heard of any of the other nominees. It’s kind of like beating Dennis Kucinich in the Democratic primaries. During the ceremony, Gore seemed to actually have a personality, he started his acceptance speech with “My fellow Americans…” and even joked about an election run in 2008.

I actually think Gore is a decent guy. While the Republicans love to call him an alarmist for his views on global warming, facts are more on his side than his opponents. While nothing is conclusive either way, my view is simple… how does it hurt us to lower our O2 emissions if global warming is not caused by us? Compare that to what happens if we do nothing and it is.
