Tony Parker is known as much for his on-court exploits as he is for his romance with Hollywood A-lister Eva Longoria. Sadly, he’s known (and endlessly mocked) for being the most whipped NBA player since Doug Christie.

With the famous couple’s wedding less than a month away, there are rumblings that Eva may not necessarily be the one wearing the pants in the relationship. At least not all of the time.

After the San Antonio Spurs won their fourth championship in nine seasons, Tony Parker said, “I’m so happy - I feel very blessed and it’s a privilege to play with a great team,” said Parker, who carried his finals MVP trophy with him on one of the early barges of the river parade. He joked that he’d slept with the trophy for the last couple of nights.

“I put Eva on the couch,” he said.

Meanwhile, some of Longoria’s pals are worried about Parker. “He is just not gracious,” one of them said. “He puts himself ahead of her. He always orders at restaurants before her and is rude to waiters. We just don’t have a good feeling about him.”

And just to put the nail in the coffin, the source adds: “We just don’t have a good feeling about him.”

Nonetheless, that appears to be the first time anyone has dissed the gentle giant and the marriage plans are still going full steam ahead.

Tony and Eva are due to get married in Paris later this summer and are expecting a bunch of celebrity guests.
