One of the greatest rivalries in college basketball continued last night when the North Carolina Tar Heels traveled 8 miles up the road to Durham, N.C. to face Duke. While Carolina has the overall advantage (125-96), Duke had won the last 16 of 20 meetings. For the most part, the game was all Duke as the Blue Devils led for all but the last five minutes of the game, unfortunately for Duke, they are the most critical minutes on the court. North Carolina took control from there, taking a 70-63 lead with under 2 minutes to play and from that point on, the Tar Heels were able to finish Duke off from the foul line.

Is Duke officially in trouble? I think so. With 6 losses, 3 of them in the LAST 3 GAMES, I’m gonna have to say that things are looking pretty grim for the Blue Devils.
