The selections are complete, the bracket is set, the madness is upon us. The 65 teams that have a chance of winning the 2007 NCAA tournament have all been picked and as always, the selection committee screwed up. The biggest snub was Syracuse. A team that finished 22-10 overall and 10-6 in conference play. This is a team that wasn’t even considered on the “bubble” and yet they won’t be tourney bound this week. Bottom line is that if you want to play, win your conference, that is the only way to guarantee your spot.

The NCAA tournament is easily my favorite sporting event. The initial barrage of 32 games in 2 days is one of the most incredible sports experiences (especially if you have a lot of money down), any team can beat any other team. Favorites will fall, Cinderella will dance, it’s the Madness baby. Love it!
